Letter from Holly Tsourides, CEO
January 6, 2014
To our Clients & Partners,
First, happy New Year from everyone at Matrix Systems! As you may have heard, we are kicking 2014 off with an important announcement regarding the long-term structure of Matrix Systems.
After careful consideration and study we determined the best long-term growth strategy for Matrix is to decouple the product business, Frontier, and the direct service business, which will now be called Xentry Systems Integration.
For the majority of our customers, the only change they will experience will be Xentry (pronounced “zen-tree”) expanding the service offerings to include third party video systems, intrusion, and other security products. Xentry will continue to be staffed by the same service and account management personnel that you have worked with for many years and come to know and trust.
Frontier will be receiving significant reinvestment in both hardware and software over the coming quarters and we look forward to launching the Frontier Integrated Platform, a unified enterprise access and video platform, in Q3 of this year. In addition, Frontier will put into place a channel of Affiliate Partners across North America to service customers who fall outside of Xentry’s direct service area. So while Xentry is focused on growing in the service areas of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, western Pennsylvania, Michigan, and southern Florida, we promise the service levels of customers outside that area will not change until we have a partner certified to our exacting standards in your area.
In the coming months, we will be reaching out to our customers with a one-on-one meeting to discuss our expanded services in more detail. Your account manager, project manager or primary contact will schedule a time with you to personally walk you through our plans in more detail.
Thanks to you Matrix Systems has enjoyed a long and proud history. We look forward to the next evolution and working even closer in the coming years.
