Reliability
The RCM is the third layer of database redundancy of Frontier’s unique architecture. The RCM’s local database capacity is configured for up to 20,000 badges (expandable to 32,000), with storage capacity for up to 8,000 transactions in a FIFO (First In First Out) rotary file. The device will control access to secured areas in the event of communication loss to the Building Controller. |

Versatility
The RCM is designed for use with the tough, durable, proven line of Matrix Card Readers, but can also accept data from other readers such as HID and the latest biometric devices. |

Rapid Response
Transactions are continuously and automatically uploaded to the Building Controller and Frontier server for control, event handling and reporting. |

Assurance
Data encryption communication between the Building Controller and the Matrix devices (e.g., RCM, MS-125 Alarm Card) is available – eliminating the need for external data encryption devices. |
