Durability
The RDP provides a rugged, vandal resistant NEMA-1 enclosure and a removable battery guaranteeing a long and successful service life. |

 |
Reliability
Advanced components are incorporated throughout the RDP including, PTC Resistors (Positive Temperature Coefficient Resistors) that will not only limit over-current, but will also automatically reset when the over-current incident has been corrected, allowing the circuit to go back online, without continuous recycling that can cause damage. |

Intelligence
The inclusion of the MS-125 Intelligent Alarm Card makes the RDP an Intelligent Alarm Panel that provides battery-backed power and wiring terminations for the following:
- Alarm inputs
- Outputs for alarms annunciation and control devices
- Matrix intelligent badge readers and/or Reader Control Modules (MXRCM) for access at doors, parking gates, elevators, jetways and anywhere access control is required.

Flexibility
The 6000 series Intelligent Alarm Panel is extremely modular ensuring maximum flexibility, expandability and integration of security systems by allowing the user to monitor security alarms, drive alarm response devices, power door locks and perform access control on the same communication line, without the need for additional power supplies. Due to extreme modular and flexibility of design, expansion capability can be engineered in advance to suit present and future security needs and budgets. |
